Michelle Metzner was born in Los Angeles and is the third generation of her family to live in the San Fernando Valley. After earning her BA in Film Production, Michelle launched her career in 1999 as a casting assistant at MTV. She was quickly tapped to cast "Becoming" for three seasons, one of MTV's highest-rated shows of all time. Next, she cast "Big Brother 3" for CBS and "Girls Behaving Badly" for Oxygen. The all-female comedic cast assembled by Michelle propelled this hidden-camera show as the highest-rated original program on the Oxygen Network. 

      In 2004 Michelle became a member of CSA and created Currently Casting, Inc.  Since then the company has been off and running. The business initially specialized in casting actors for short & feature films, then expanded to finding the perfect talent for all types of projects.  Michelle's mission is to discover the most talented actors & unique real people for commercials, films, scripted & reality television, webisodes and more.  Current clients include DirecTV, Fox, Schick Razor, Ford, LA Fitness, MTV, Wal-Mart, Target, Style Network, and Sony - just to name a few.

     Michelle regularly appears on panel discussions in Los Angeles to offer advice and to help talent succeed in the business. Her enthusiasm and energy shines - whether casting a promo, series or film.
